Agnese Pacciardi is Research Fellow at the Sussex Centre for Migration Research. Her research lies at the intersection of border studies, mobility, and security studies from feminist and decolonial perspectives. She is particularly interested in how militarized borders control bodies along racial and gender lines, and how people generate forms of resistance.

Priscyll Anctil Avoine is a researcher in Feminist Security Studies and an Assistant Professor at the Department of War Studies, Swedish Defence University. Her work focuses on embodiment and emotions in contemporary post/wars settings. She is particularly interested in women and feminist forms of resistance in armed conflict and peacebuilding.
